- Excessive reliance on leaders slows down the decision-making process, blocks innovation, paralyzes employees and overloads leaders. Solutions: Highlight goals rather than execution. Talk about tools and methods, and set up training programs. Specify roles and functions. Delegate.
- Some team members are marginalized, and don’t have access to collaborative resources and can’t take part in projects, which creates a cascade of disengagement.
Solutions: Reintegrate anyone who is marginalized by giving them a role. Emphasize inclusive values. Give everyone a voice, and make sure you don’t forget employees who are working remotely.
